Before 2013, the number of patent applications for educational robots in China increased slowly. The number of patent applications for educational robots industry reached 84 in 2013 and 551 in 2017. The increasing number of patents for educational robots shows that the technological level in this field is constantly improving, and the research status of robots in this field is also steadily improving.

  At present, there are more than 100 robotic competitions in the world every year. The contestants include primary, middle, high school and University students. The number of participants is also increasing year by year. For example, recently held in Yizhuang, Beijing, the World Robot Competition 2018 attracted more than 12,000 teams and 50,000 competitors from more than 10 countries and regions. In 2017, China Youth Robot Competition, more than 9,000 teams and 25,000 primary and secondary students from all provinces, districts and municipalities participated, and the number of participating schools reached 3,700. Through the practice of the contest, students are more mature in basic life skills, cooperative communication, critical thinking, project management, communication and interaction. At the same time, they further broaden their horizons and stimulate their potential.

 

  Robot & Education: There is a long way to go and a long way to go

  Second, the competition of the head enterprises of robotic education will become increasingly clear. Similar to the New Oriental and good future, K12 education enterprises with a market value of more than 100 billion (Nasdaq) have the sole respect. Based on big data and online service mode, the merger and acquisition, resource integration and national layout of robotic education enterprises will be accelerated.
